The baby lock Hagane combines the precision and reliability of a professional straight stitch machine for professional and hobby sewists.

The high-torque motor delivers consistently beautiful stitches across a range of leather, upholstery and heavy materials using thicker threads even at higher speeds. Its high-quality, sturdy metal housing enhances stability and minimises vibration for smooth, dependable performance.

  • Use 1 or 2 threads
  • The Teflon foot comes as standard and is specially designed to glide smoothly over thicker materials. Its construction allows it to handle heavy fabrics with ease while supporting stitch lengths of up to 7 mm for added versatility.
  • Adjustable speed control - maximum 1500 stitches per minute. Minimum 40 stitch per minute for precise sewing
  • The Teflon-coated stitch plate ensures smooth, consistent feeding of leather and other heavy materials. Key features include:
  • Enlarged needle hole (2.4 mm) for improved thread flow
  • Widened adjacent groove to prevent thread jamming
  • Optimised design for thicker threads up to Tex 90
  • Consistently high stitch quality, even with heavy-duty materials
  • The feed dog height can be adjusted to 3 different levels to match the weight of your fabric. This ensures optimal fabric feeding every time; whether working with light, medium, or heavy materials.
  • The inner shuttle ensures high stitch reliability, even at elevated sewing speeds and when working with thicker threads. The bobbin housing remains easily accessible at all times; including when the machine is fitted with an extension table.
  • The needle position button allows you to set the exact needle position at the end of a seam; ideal for placing single, accurate stitches.
  • A knee lift lever is included, giving you full control over your sewing at all times. With both hands free to guide the fabric safely, the presser foot can be raised or lowered effortlessly using your knee.
  • The machine also features a generous 14.5 × 22 cm work surface, along with an attachable extension table; ideal for handling larger projects and greater volumes of fabric with ease.
