Sashiko - ex demonstration machine SAVE £500!

The baby lock Sashiko is the world’s only ‘hand-stitching’ sewing machine!

baby lock Sashiko machine stitches have the look of traditional Japanese sashiko hand stitching.

Designed to create an authentic running-stitch effect, Sashiko makes it easy to achieve stunning decorative results with consistent, professional-looking stitches.

Unlike other sewing machine ‘sashiko’ stitches, the baby lock Sashiko machine uses only one thread in the lower bobbin. The unique sashiko needle and latch pick up the single thread as a loop and lay it down as a double stitch leaving a true gap between each stitch. No invisible thread involved.

Adjust the stitch length and gap between each stitch with the levers on the front of the machine.

Whether you're quilting, embellishing garments or adding unique detail to creative textile and art projects, the baby lock Sashiko opens up a world of possibilities — giving you the character of hand stitching without the hours of work and is a great alternative if you find hand stitching painful.

Our ex-demonstration model is in a ‘as new’ condition. It has been used for demonstration purposes only.
